After seven journeys to Bora Bora and countless hours of patience, I finally captured the moment I had envisioned for years—a lone black tip reef shark gliding through the crystal-clear waters beneath the iconic Mt. Otemanu. This split-level shot, taken after four hours in the water with a burning sun on my back, represents the raw beauty and untamed spirit of the Bora Bora lagoon. The shot, captured at a popular shark and ray tour spot, reminds us of the delicate balance between the underwater world and the majesty above.
